Analogue Renaissance

Analogue Renaissance

In this digital age, photographers still love analogue photography—millions of images posted on Instagram with the hashtags #filmisnotdead and #analoguephotography. There is an analogue renaissance going on. Many millennials who grew up with computers in the digital world are drawn to classical development techniques. They want to capture the world around them more consciously and experience how it was in the analogue era. Many young photographers start to experiment with analogue photography. Photo artists combine analogue photography in an alternative way, such as merging analogue photos with digital images or combining Polaroids with paint or experiment with chemicals.
