Bottega Veneta – Spot Winter 2016

The autumn / winter 2016/17 campaign Bottega Veneta was photographed in Sicily by Viviane Sassen, in the spectacular and monumental scenario of the Great Cretto of Gibellina created by Alberto Burri, a land art work of about 80,000 square meters. Burri, a pioneering post-war Italian artist whose work was recently presented in a retrospective at the Guggenheim Museum in New York, conceived the Grande Cretto as a memorial to the town of Gibellina, hit by the 1968 earthquake that razed it completely to the ground.
